Track 25: Simulation and Simulators

Simulation is the imitation of the task or operation of a genuine procedure or framework. The demonstration of reenacting something initially necessitates that a model be produced; this model speaks to the key attributes, practices and elements of the chose physical or dynamic framework or process. This model speaks about the framework itself, while the recreation speaks about the task of the framework after some time.

Track 26: Computer-aided design& manufacturing CAD&CAM

CAD is the use of computer technology for design and design documentation. CAD/CAM applications are used to both design a product and programming the manufacturing processes, specifically, CNC machining. CAM is software uses the models and assemblies created in CAD software to generate the tool paths that drive the machines that turn the designs into physical parts.

The global automotive pie is growing in 2018. Our analysis shows that the Q2 annualized sales rate for the global light vehicle market was up 3.8% on last year's pace at just over 97m units. The market is closing in on 100m. By the year-end, we'll be talking about another record year, with China posting over 30m units, the US close to 17m and Western Europe over 14m again. Global economic growth for 2018 and 2019 is projected by major forecasters at close to 4% in each year - a respectable level by historical standards. Digitization and connectivity are generating large volumes of usage data, which will enable new revenue streams such as data monetization in the automotive industry. The prices of electric vehicle (EV) batteries are constantly declining, which is making EVs affordable, contributing to an increase in their sales.
